Friday Favorites--Surgical Scrub for Rain Rot

When it rains it pours, literally. We can't seem to make it through a summer without some rain rot, but this year has been our best year yet. Here's why: I use these surgical scrub brushes to clean Commit's areas of rain rot and within a few days, it. is. gone! I keep a handful on hand in my tack locker and as soon as I see those flakes, the scrubbing starts. I found some individual brushes on amazon, but those are no longer in stock. Here is another source for the individual brushes and you can wash and re-use them with hibiclens or betadine. The povidone-iodine brushes are still available in single packs on amazon here; try a few and see what works for you. Together, we can kick rain rot's butt!!
